Careers at The Triple Crown Centre

At The Triple Crown Centre, students can be assured of receiving a wide range of experiences, support and guidance to help them make informed decisions about their future.

This support begins in Year 7 and continues through to Year 11 and post-16 destinations, ensuring that every student receives personalised, meaningful guidance at every stage of their journey.

We work in partnership with other Solihull schools as part of the Life Ready Programme (Solihull)—a borough-wide initiative providing a structured framework to develop independent, confident, and life-ready young adults. The shared vision of the Life Ready Solihull Programme is that students at The Triple Crown Centre will develop:

“The skills, knowledge and dynamism to reach their full career potential, to meet the needs of employers and to contribute to the economic growth of the borough and beyond.”

Awarded the National Quality in Careers Standard

We are proud to share that The Triple Crown Centre has been awarded the national Quality in Careers Standard in May 2025, in recognition of our commitment to delivering outstanding careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG).

This nationally respected award is fully aligned with the updated Gatsby Benchmarks for Good Career Guidance and complies with the Department for Education’s May 2025 Statutory Guidance, which strongly recommends that all state-funded secondary schools, special schools, sixth form colleges and FE colleges work towards, achieve and maintain this Standard.

"This Standard has provided a flexible framework that enabled us to audit our work on careers and ensure our students are receiving advice, practical support and experience so they are prepared for the next stage of their education, employment, self-employment or training.”

Following the 2024 review of the Gatsby Benchmarks, the national assessment criteria for the Standard have been updated, and a revised Guide will be implemented from September 2025. We are proud to be among the schools leading the way in meeting these new expectations.
